The first considers now, the second reflects on the past, and the final verse adds up the impacts over time. Each refrain longs for an endless BBQ, and beers that never come.

Every day we hang out, and we dream. Some day our dreams may come true.

Meanwhile we rank competing priorities, and reminisce as we spin through time. But where is Earth 2.0, will it have beers and a BBQ?

Someday is also a musical metaphor for world-wide, climate action, procrastination.

Kicking the can down the road only gets us so far.

Still, we wait with time, like a friend.

Follow Reverend Genes and watch if you can.
